Receiver Donald Driver got a scare when his fingers went numb after absorbing a hard hit during a workout Thursday. The news improved today as the feeling returned to Driver's and x-rays were negative.

Driver took a hard hit on the left forearm after making a catch near the end of a two-hour session. He had to leave the field after the injury.

"(The hit) was from one of the DBs trying to unch the ball out at the ned," Driver said. "He hit me in my wrist and made my fingers numb. That was it. But, now they're back, so I'm happy."

Driver said he planned to return to practice today.

"It's just a little bruise," Driver said. "I'll be back at it."
