Patriots Rookies Report, Five Fail Physicals

According to one report, five Patriots rookies failed their physicals after reporting to camp this week.

Rookies Report To Camp, Five Fail Physicals

The New England Patriots welcomed their rookie class to Gillette Stadium Thursday morning. After the newcomers check in, go through a bit of orientation, they are given opening camp physicals.    Reportedly, five of the group failed their physicals.

According to Howard Balzer ( Link ), the five included seventh-round Draft pick WR Jeremy Ebert and four undrafted players ; DE Justin Francis, WR Matt Roark, OL Jeremiah Warren and T Markus Zusevics . Ebert was placed on the team's active/ PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list while Zusevics was listed on the NFI (Non-Football Injury) list.
Ebert has reportedly been dealing with an injury issue since rookie camp, while Zusevics hurt himself working out at the NFL Combine.

Patriots' rookies report this week, while veterans report next Wednesday for their physicals.  Training camp opens on the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium Thursday, and is open to the public.
