Sunday slant: Patience hard to muster

The Vikings have teased fans (and players) into believing the playoffs are possible, despite the rebuilding plans of the offseason. It has caused quite a conflict among those who believed rebuilding was the right thing to do, but now don't want to enact requisite patience.

As much as fans hated to see the Vikings delay their return to relevance, most sane fans realized the franchise needed to undergo the oftentimes painful process of rebuilding.
