Dates and times will be announced. The Packers will kick off the preseason against the Cardinals sometime between Aug. 8 and Aug. 12. After visiting St. Louis between Aug. 15 and Aug. 19, they’ll host the Seahawks on Aug. 23 in a 7 p.m. game that will be broadcast nationally on CBS. The preseason concludes against Kansas City on Aug. 29 or Aug. 30.
The Packers and Cardinals have squared off in 22 preseason games dating to 1950, when the Cardinals were located in Chicago.
The last time the Packers and Rams met in the preseason, the Rams were located in Los Angeles and the teams met at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.
With the game against Seattle, the Packers will have played at least one nationally televised preseason game in 20 of the past 21 seasons. The obvious story line will be the infamous Fail Mary game from last season, when Seattle stole a 14-12 victory in Week 3.
