Annual Scrimmage Set For Aug. 3

Tickets for the 13th annual Packers Family Night, which are priced at $10, go on sale on June 24.

The Green Bay Packers will hold their annual Family Night scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 3.

The 13th edition of Family Night will feature an intrasquad scrimmage between the offense and defense. Activities start at 5:30 p.m., followed by on-field football drills at 6:30 and the scrimmage at approximately 7:30.

Tickets, which are $10, will go on sale at 9 a.m. on June 24.

Tickets will be made available through Ticketmaster, and may be purchased in person at Ticketmaster outlets or the Packers' ticket office, over the phone or online. In a change from previous years, there is no ticket limit on purchases.

A group ticket program (minimum of 50 tickets) will be offered again. The application form is available online at Packers.com, in person at the Packers ticket office or can be requested to be faxed by calling 920/569-7501. Group ticket orders are restricted to approved groups and organizations, and are to be used for the sole purpose of accommodating a group or organizational outing. Resale is prohibited.

Following on-field activities, 20 scrimmage-worn jerseys will be given away in a random drawing, and fireworks will cap the festivities.

Parking for the event will be $5, with net proceeds to be donated to the Wendy's Wonderful Kids Program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

In case of inclement weather, no refunds will be issued unless all stadium activities — from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show — are cancelled.

A broadcast, originated by WLUK-TV Fox 11 in Green Bay, will be televised on WITI in Milwaukee, WMSN in Madison, WFXS in Wausau, WLAX in La Crosse and WEUX in Eau Claire.

The first practice of training camp will be held on Friday, July 26. The camp schedule has not been announced.
