PACKER REPORT PREDICTION (13-2-1): Clay Matthews was a focal point when these teams met in Week 1, and he'll be the key factor in Sunday's rematch. Without Matthews, who is one of the game's elite defenders, the Packers are at a decided disadvantage on the outside against Niners offensive tackles Joe Staley and Anthony Davis. Staley and Davis dominated last year's playoff game against Matthews and Erik Walden. Without Matthews, can Mike Neal, Nick Perry and Andy Mulumba put any pressure on Colin Kaepernick? Can they pressure Kaepernick while keeping contain? Can they play with the necessary discipline when the Niners use their read-option attack? When the weather is bad, the winning formula is the ability to run the ball and stop the run. The Packers can run the ball. The 49ers can do both. 49ers 30, Packers 20.
