NFL Draft Report: Quarterback Rankings

Johnny Manziel (Dale Zanine - USA TODAY)

Rankings for NFL quarterbacks based on their long-term potential in the league, not their immediate draft status. Plus, the NFL Scouting Combine measurables at the position.

Central Florida's Blake Bortles is the top-ranked quarterback in this year's draft, according to longtime NFL head scout Dave-Te' Thomas.

Thomas, who publishes the NFL Draft Report and provides scouting reports, research and analysis to the league and its teams, has Derek Carr ranked second, followed by Teddy Bridgewater and Johnny Manziel.

Thomas' ranking of the top 35 quarterbacks, complete with testing numbers, are posted in our Packers Pro Club subscribers forum.

Among the Day 3 candidates are Pittsburgh's Tom Savage, whom Thomas analyzes in 14 phases of the game in Part 1 of his Super Sleeper Series. This story contains segments of his official scouting reports that are supplied to teams.

San Jose State's David Fales, Ball State's Keith Wenning and North Dakota State's Brock Jensen have had or will have predraft visits with the Packers.
