Shields, Whitt Form Dynamic Duo

Packers cornerbacks coach Joe Whitt knew Sam Shields would become a "very good football player." That's what he predicted during the first week of OTAs ... back in 2010. At the time, Whitt said he had rated Shields as the "most talented" cornerback in that draft class. With a big contract, Shields has backed up Whitt's faith.
