Training camp update

Jorg Heckenbach

NFL Europe standout receiver Jorg Heckenbach made his first appearance at training camp after his release from the hospital. Heckenbach was being treated for dehydration and exhaustion.<P>

"This is not why I came overseas. I came over here to play, not to watch guys play football. I'm ready to get back on the field as soon as the doctors let me."

Doctors will perform tests on Heckenbach daily, and must approve his return to the field. Heckenbach said he isn't sure when he'll get nod to practice.

Injury news: Donald Driver missed Sunday's practice (hamstring) and Na'il Diggs sat out the special teams practice (hip).

Did Not Participate: Keith Burnell (hip), Driver (hamstring), Tony Fisher (Achilles), Robert Ferguson (tailbone), Bubba Franks (illness/knee), Heckenbach (exhaustion/dehydration), Cletidus Hunt (gastritis), Joe Johnson (quadriceps), James Lee (hip), David Martin (hamstring), Jermaine Petty (hamstring), DeAndrew Rubin (back), Terdell Sands (ankle), Adam Tate (knee), Steve Warren (back), Reggie White (knee), Jerry Wisne (calf).

Remains Unsigned: Gilbert Brown.

Schedule: Monday night's practice will be held at Lambeau and is closed to the public. The next open practice is set for Tuesday from 2:45-4:30 (no morning practice), on Clarke Hinkle Field, weather permitting.
