Packers playing it safe with receivers

Injuries continue to alter the preseason wide receivers' lineup as Donald Driver and Robert Ferguson will miss Saturday's game at Atlanta, coach Mike Sherman said.

Driver (hamstring) and Ferguson (tailbone) did not play in the Packers' preseason debut vs. the Chiefs last Monday night.

Ferguson did return to practice and completed individual drills during full squad practices. Driver has been participating in conditioning work.

The Packers could be without their top three receivers as Javon Walker continues to recuperate from an ankle injury sustained in Monday's game.

Karsten Bailey and rookie Carl Ford are the probable starters tomorrow night.
