Cancel the vacation: Don't look for any Packers to be living the high life in Las Vegas ala Chicago's Brian Urlacher. The Packers have work to do during the upcoming bye week. They haven't entered an open date riding a streak of two or more losses since 1991. When entering the bye week after a single loss, the Packers have only continued their losing ways once in the past 10 seasons (1998). Coincidentally, that was the last time the Packers headed into a dome after their week off.
Favre file: The QB's TD pass streak now stands at 16 games, passing Don Majkowski for the fourth-longest streak in Packer history. If he is able to extend his current streak, Favre could tie his own mark for the 2nd (18 games) and 3rd (17 games) spots. The game in which Favre could potentially tie Cecil Isbell, who holds the team record with 22 consecutive games with a touchdown pass, would come in week 14 vs. the Bears at Lambeau Field. Isbell accomplished the mark during weeks 1-11 in 1941 and weeks 1-11 in 1942.
Favre passed Leroy Butler to hold the fourth spot all alone on the list of overall games played for the Packers with 181. Topping the list are Hall of Famers Bart Starr (196 games), Ray Nitschke (190) and Forest Gregg (187).
Go Green: Running back Ahman Green may have suffered a sub-par day, but his 21-yard TD pass from Favre in the second quarter temporarily tied him with William Henderson on Favre's list of all-time favorite TD targets. Green's TD catch was his eighth from Favre since he joined the Packers in 2000. Henderson regained the lead with a 1-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter.
