Two 'street' free agents were with Packers in training camp last year

In addition to signing punter David Lonie on Friday, the Green Bay Packers today announced that they have signed four other "street" free agents.

Additions to the roster are linebacker Tim Goodwell, cornerback Antonio Malone, linebacker Marcus Randall, and defensive tackle Devarick Scandrett. Malone and Goodwell were in Green Bay's training camp last season. Goodwell also spent a portion of the season on the team's eight-man practice squad.

Randall, a former quarterback for Louisiana State University, was signed by the Tennessee Titans as a non-drafted free agent following the 2005 draft. He spent most of the ’05 regular season on the Titans’ practice squad, and was released at the end of Tennessee’s 2006 preseason. He was out of football last year.

Randall converted to safety as a rookie with Tennessee, then switched to linebacker last year.

Scandrett signed with the Houston Texans prior to 2006 training camp. A non-drafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee State, he played in a pair of preseason games before Houston released him last August.
