Defensive tackle to meet with Falcons

Kenderick Allen

Allen spent most of last season on injured reserve after injuring foot

Defensive tackle Kenderick Allen, an unrestricted free agent, is expected to meet with the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday, according to his agent, Harold Lewis. Allen spent most of last season on Green Bay's injured reserve list in his only season with the Packers.

Allen, 28, sustained a sprained foot against the Lions at Detroit on Sept. 24. His only other action with the Packers was as a backup in the season opener against Chicago on Sept. 10. He was placed on season-ending injured reserve on Oct. 4.

The 6-foot-5, 328-pound Allen was signed by Green Bay last April after he was waived by the New York Giants. Recommended Stories
