WarNest.com's Chris Steuber posed questions about the Packers to PackerReport.com manager editor Todd Korth. Here are Korth's answers to his questions:

1. The Packers have a nice young defense that should make the Packers very competitive this year. What offensive weapons, outside of Brett Favre and Donald Driver, do the Packers challenge the opposition with?
Todd Korth:
That's precisely the question that many irked Packers fans have these days. Green Bay may have two rookies starting in the offensive backfield on Sunday against the Eagles, so obviously, they are not proven. Outside of Favre and Driver, the offensive will be leaning on second-year wide receiver Greg Jennings and rookie James Jones to make plays. The Packers also are hoping that veteran tight end Bubba Franks snaps bounces back to his Pro Bowl form after two straight sub-par seasons. Tight end Donald Lee surpassed Franks on the depth chart this offseason, and the Packers have high hopes for him. Lee is entering his fifth season in the NFL, but first as a full-time starter.

2. Is Lambeau Field still considered to be a place opposing teams fear?
TK:
The Packers have lost the Lambeau Field Mystique since the stadium renovation was completed in 2003. Since then, the Packers are 15-17 at home. From 1992 to 2002, the Packers were 75-13 during the regular season at Lambeau Field.

3. With Al Harris and Charles Woodson, the Packers have two excellent corners to match up with the Eagles receivers, but who’s responsible for Brian Westbrook?
TK:
Look for the Packers to put middle linebacker Nick Barnett on Westbrook. Barnett has started since he was selected in the first round of the NFL draft by the Packers in 2003. He was second on the team with 141 tackles last year to A.J. Hawk and named a Pro Bowl alternate.

4. It seems that first round pick, defensive tackle Justin Harrell, is buried on the depth chart? What’s the reason for that?
TK:
Harrell's status is a tribute to the players in front of him on the line. The Packers opted to keep five defensive tackles, one more than the norm, because they simply like what all of them have to offer. Veterans Ryan Pickett and Corey Williams are the starters, but they are backed by Colin Cole and Johnny Jolly.

The Packers have the luxury of easing Harrell into the mix. Remember that Harrell missed most of his senior season at Tennessee with a ruptured biceps. He was not in the best of condition at the start of training camp, but he is working at it and has the right attitude to improve.

5. The Packers are starting rookie Mason Crosby as their kicker this season. He’s looked pretty good in the preseason, but is there any concern about starting a rookie come November and December?
TK:
The Packers essentially did the same last year with Dave Rayner, the kicker that Crosby edged in the most intense competition for a place-kicking job in Green Bay Packers training camp history. Rayner was in his second year in the league, but first as a full-time kicker.

Crosby set 31 records while kicking for the University of Colorado. He has kicked in nasty weather conditions and is very composed for a rookie. A sixth round pick by Green Bay this year, the Packers will be better off with the strong-legged Crosby over the long haul.

Note: Korth will answer more of Steuber's questions on Friday in Behind Enemy Lines.
