Shaun Bodiford

Shaun Bodiford was released at the end of training camp

Wide receiver Shaun Bodiford, released by the Packers at the end of training camp, re-signed with Green Bay today. To make room for Bodiford on the 53-man roster, the Packers released wide receiver Chris Francies.

Bodiford a 5-11, 186-pound player from Portland State, injured his MCL during a preseason game against Seattle on Aug. 18, and did not play the rest of the preseason. He was on the Washington Redskins' roster for the first two weeks of the regular season. The Packers signed Bodiford off the Redskins' practice squad.

Bodiford played in three games for the Packers in 2006, mainly on special teams, before he was placed on injured reserve with a shin injury.
