Favre shares Blanda interception record; injury update in wake of loss to Bears

QB Brett Favre has a share of the league's dubious interception record. Favre had two passes picked off in the 27-20 loss to Chicago on Sunday night, giving him 277 in his career to tie George Blanda. Favre had one touchdown pass to boost the league record he attained the previous week to 423.

C Scott Wells was poked in the eye in the third quarter and didn't finish the game. Jason Spitz replaced Wells.

RB Brandon Jackson was deactivated for the second straight game because of a strained shin.

DT Colin Cole was held out of the game as a precaution after he sustained a mild concussion in practice Oct. 3. Cole had returned to practice Friday and was considered probable for Sunday.

DT Justin Harrell, the team's first-round draft pick this year, was activated for the first time this season. He played sparingly as a backup on defense and had one tackle.

DE Michael Montgomery could be cleared this week for a full workload in practice. He suffered a severely sprained knee in the second preseason game and returned for individual drills in the past couple weeks.
