Why No Replacement For Clifton On the Roster?

Has general manager Ted Thompson blown it in making sure the Packers were prepared in the event of veteran left tackle Chad Clifton sustaining an injury? We didn't know, so we reviewed the moves that were made and could have been made under Thompson's watch.
