A sensation after a strong training camp in 2008, oft-injured running back Kregg Lumpkin has become something of an afterthought. He'll have to beat out sixth-round pick James Starks to win a roster spot.

In the space of a year, Kregg Lumpkin has gone from intriguing prospect to something of an afterthought. As an undrafted rookie running back from Georgia in 2008, the hard-charging Lumpkin had a strong Family Night Scrimmage and led the Packers in rushing in the preseason with 153 yards (4.0 average) and a touchdown, plus caught seven passes with another touchdown.
