2003: After his breakout 2002 season, Driver took a step backward production-wise with 52 catches for 621 yards, a 11.9 average and two touchdowns (compared with 70, 1,064, 15.2, 9). Part of the dropoff can be attributed to being a larger focus of opposing defenses. Another reason could be the horrific fall suffered during the opener against Minnesota when he leaped for a pass and landed on his head. He missed only one game with the injury and wound up starting the other 15. ... Led team in receiving during regular season, and his eight catches led the team in the playoffs. ... Best game came against San Diego when he caught eight balls for 112 yards and a touchdown. ... Under contract through 2007.
2002: Entering fifth season in Green Bay, more than any other Packers receiver. ... Signed five-year, $11 million contract extension with Packers ($4 million bonus) in November of 2002. ... Developed into Green Bay’s No. 1 receiver in his first season as a starter in 2002, finishing with a career-high 70 catches for 1064 yards. ... Was voted as a first alternate for the NFC squad in the Pro Bowl, and subsequently played in the all-star game when Randy Moss withdrew. ... Packers' last pick in 1999 draft (213th overall). ... In 2001, Driver played in 13 regular season games and was inactive for three games. ... Made 13 catches for 167 yards (12.8 avg.) and 1 touchdown. ... Also rushed three times for 38 yards and 1 TD, along with 6 special-teams tackles.
