Since 1958, the year before Vince Lombardi arrived, just one other Packers guard has started more consecutive years (Jerry Kramer, nine from 1958-66). ... Became the first Green Bay O-lineman in 33 years to make three straight Pro Bowls (Gale Gillingham, 1969-71). ... His current 99-game starting streak is second longest on the team, behind only ironman Brett Favre (205). Named as Packers' 2004 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year. Elected to his third-consecutive Pro Bowl. Member of unit that paved the way for 6,349 offensive yards, a team record, surpassing the 6,172 of the 1983 Packers; also part of unit that surrendered just 14 sacks, bettering the 1972 and '74 squads' 17 QB fells. |
