Entering his sixth straight season as a starter at left cornerback. ... Started the first 14 games in 2003 and was inactive for final two regular season games because of right turf toe injury suffered at San Diego (Dec. 14). ... Led team in passes defensed with 20 for second straight season. ... Had four interceptions, returning one 90 yards for a touchdown. ... In 2002, had 15 passes defensed, tops among Green Bay’s defensive backs, despite missing three games in October with a groin injury. ... Finished with 2 interceptions and was sixth on team in tackles with 64. ... In 2001, finished seventh on the team with 70 tackles, 2 interceptions and a career-high 21 passes defensed (one off of the team lead). ... All-rookie selection in 1999. ... Signed a five-year, $17 million contract extension ($3.5 million signing bonus) through the 2006 season on Jan. 7, 2002.
College
Three-year letter winner (1996-98) for the University of Memphis, where
he started the final two-and-a-half years. Redshirted in 1995. A
first-team All-Conference USA selection as a sophomore and junior, played in
32 straight games for the Tigers, with 26 consecutive starts. Finished
career with 206 tackles, including 151 solo and 8 for loss, with 6
interceptions and 20 passes defensed.
