James Lee
Ht: 6-5 Wt: 327
Position: DL
Date of Birth: 03/12/1980
Birthplace: Salem,  OR
Experience: 2
High School: Mc Kay HS
(Salem, OR)
Junior College: College of the Redwoods
College: Oregon State

Biography:
Pro
2003: A teammate of Nick Barnett at Oregon State, Lee was a candidate to be a key reserve on the offensive line last season but was put on injured reserve with low-back inflammation early in training camp. ... Has excellent lateral movement despite size.

With Billy Lyon gone and Gilbert Brown's return a question, Lee adds needed depth in the middle of the Packers' defense. With refined technique, could be an effective starter in the mold of Brown. Could be out of town, however, if he reverts to his overweight ways and he does not dedicate himself to improving. Selected by Packers in fifth round of 2003 NFL draft (147th overall).

College
Part-time starter last season finished with 29 tackles, three deflected passes and one fumble recovery. Played two years at the College of the Redwoods, a junior college.
