| While Chatman remained an average kick and punt returner, he emerged as a decent fourth wide receiver. Chatman played in all 16 games, including two starts due to personnel packages. Averaged 7.7 yards per punt return, which ranked eighth in the 16-team NFC. Also averaged 22.6 yards per kickoff return, which included a career-long 59 yarder against Minnesota in which he spun out of a tackle and then broke up the left sideline. As a wide receiver, caught 22 passes for 246 yards and a touchdown, a diving 6-yarder. With Robert Ferguson out of the Jacksonville game, Chatman caught four passes for 48 yards and his first career touchdown. Also averaged nearly 11 yards on punt returns, including a career-best 28 yarder. |
