College: Designated as roverback by Albany coaches. Played in Las Vegas All-American Classic, formerly the Paradise Bowl. He made 34 tackles, including 2.5 for losses, plus added three pass deflections and one fumble recovery in 10 games played in 2004.
Campbell, one of four captains in 2004, finished his collegiate career with 120 tackles and 19 pass break-ups. He was the first Great Dane to appear in a postseason all-star game since offensive tackle J.T. Herfurth played in the 2000 Hula Bowl.
