Selected to his first Pro Bowl - as a starter - after leading NFL tight ends with 9 touchdown receptions in 2001. Caught a career-high 36 passes (for 322 yards) to rank fourth among Packers. Caught more passes in his first two NFL seasons - 70 - than any other tight end in Packers history, topping the prior mark of 56 by Paul Coffman (1978-79).
College
Played three seasons (1997-99) for the University of Miami (Fla.), starting the last two-and-a-half years. Redshirted in 1996. Though he left school with one season of eligibility remaining, still finished his career with the UM record for touchdown receptions by a tight end (12). Finished with 77 receptions for 1,038 yards with the Hurricanes. |
