playoff berth in his 11 seasons as the team’s starting quarterback. ... Has

Extended his own record of 3,000-yard seasons to 11 and has thrown 20 or more

Played for Southern Mississippi from 1987-90. He earned Most Valuable
Player award in the East-West Shrine game for seniors. Set school records for
passing yards (8,193), pass attempts (1,234), completions (656), passing
percentage (53.0), and touchdowns (55). Only had 35 interceptions. He had
