Ranked in top half of NFC punters in net average (35.7 yards, seventh) and was 10th in the conference in gross average (41.7 yards) in 2002. Had career high 26 punts drop inside the opponents' 20 yard line. ... Only 6 touchbacks among 79 punts. ... Became more consistent in 2001, his second season as the Packers' punter, a full year removed from his 1999 battle with testicular cancer. He had the second-best net punting average (36.5 yards) in team history - a statistic kept by the NFL since 1976 - his total is bested only by Sean Landeta's 37.1-yard net average in 1998. Ranked third among NFC punters in net yards while standing seventh in the conference on a gross yards basis (42.5). Punted 82 times for 3,485 yards, dropping 21 'Inside the 20' (25.6%) - with only 10 touchbacks. Played in all 16 games.
