Re-signed to practice squad of Chicago on Dec. 10, 2002 after
being waived by the Bears one week earlier… Originally signed to Bears
practice squad on Nov. 12, 2002… Began NFL career with Arizona, signing as
an undrafted free agent, but was released at the end of training camp.
College
Returned to the gridiron as a senior after missing Tennessee
State’s 2000 season due to academic ineligibility… Started 35 of 38 games
played for the Tigers, recording 108 tackles (89 solos) with four INTs and
30 PBUs… Named second-team all-Ohio Valley Conference as a senior in 2001,
recording 31 tackles (25 solos and one TFL), a forced fumble and fumble
recovery, three INTs and eight PBUs… Started every game as a junior in 1999
and recorded 31 tackles (25 solos and one TFL), one INT and eight PBUs…
Played in seven games as a sophomore and recorded 13 solo tackles with a
forced fumble, one INT and four PBUs… Appeared in nine games as a true
freshman, recording career-high 33 tackles (26 solos) with a fumble recovery
and team-high 10 PBUs… Majored in computer science. |
