Played in 11 games with three starts for the Miami Dolphins in
2001, making 22 tackles and recording half a sack. Originally drafted by the
Dolphins in the sixth round of the 2000 draft (167th overall), Grant was
inactive in 12 games as a rookie, dressed but did not play in two others and
made his NFL debut against Buffalo (10/8) and played at Detroit (11/5) where
he recorded his first career NFL tackle against the Lions.
College
Was a four-year letterman (1996-99) and two-year starter as a
defensive tackle at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Opened 20 of the 38 games in which
he played during his career, all coming over his final two seasons. Finished
his four seasons with 169 tackles, 29 stops for loss, 10.5 sacks, six fumble
recoveries and two forced fumbles. Registered 53 tackles, eight stops for
loss and three sacks his senior year. Was an All-Southwestern Athletic
Conference selection as a junior when he tallied 52 tackles, 12 stops for
loss, four sacks and two fumble recoveries. Majored in business
