Pro
On pace to become second tight end in Packers history with three straight Pro Bowl selections. Paul Coffman also was named to three straight Pro Bowls between 1982-84. ... Selected to his second straight Pro Bowl as a starter after catching a career-high 54 passes (442 yards) in 2002. Led NFC tight ends in touchdowns with seven. ... Played in all 16 games for the third straight season, including 15 starts. ... Caught a career-high 36 passes (for 322 yards) to rank fourth among Packers in 2001. Caught more passes in his first two NFL seasons - 70 - than any other tight end in Packers history, topping the prior mark of 56 by Paul Coffman (1978-79).
College
Played three seasons (1997-99) for the University of Miami (Fla.), starting the last two-and-a-half years. Redshirted in 1996. Though he left school with one season of eligibility remaining, still finished his career with the UM record for touchdown receptions by a tight end (12). Finished with 77 receptions for 1,038 yards with the Hurricanes. |
