Notebook: Ponder struggles with inaccuracy

QB Christian Ponder finished with 352 yards passing, but part of the Vikings' red zone issues had to do with missed opportunities in the passing game. Plus, the Vikings' playmakers were less than 100 percent and other notes.

Christian Ponder started the season as one of the NFL's most accurate passers and was the last starting quarterback to throw an interception. In Sunday's 38-26 loss to the Washington Redskins, his accuracy was lacking and it ended up affecting the Vikings. Ponder started his second NFL season with completion percentages of 74.1 and 77.1 yards, with both of those outings producing passer ratings...
